Disposing of old fuel cans

We recommend burning the fuel until the can is empty, let cool and recycle the can.  If you need to dispose of cans that have some fuel remaining, disposal at a hazardous waste facility is recommended. Usually landfills will collect products such as paints, oils etc for proper disposal.
